We had a wonderful drive up the mountain road to Mazamitla. We haven't figured out what those huge white lobes are hanging from the tree (but I will google search soon). The Alpine flowers were small delicate and precious. The town was busy with folks from Guadalajara still enjoying Christmas holidays. Despite my ongoing knee problem (bursitis) we did a lot of walking. Next time we plan to ride horses to the waterfall or hike in, but my knee wouldn't cooperate. Mazamitla is so picturesque and only 1.5 hours from Jocotepec. Ivan mastered the mountain road and we explored the back woods where we had a picnic. Evi
